Okay… but what comes next?
After the crisis. After the appointment. After someone finally believes you. There is still a life to live—and a community with a part to play.

Where reclaiming begins
“Jane Doe was never the end of her story. It was only the place where reclaiming began.”
Our past forums opened conversations about healing and empowerment. RECLAIM carries those conversations into the decisions, relationships, and systems that shape everyday life.
Having a voice matters. So does being heard when you ask about your health. Having choices matters. So does having the support, housing, and financial stability to act on them.
What does it take to make that possible? That is the work we are bringing into this room.
A place for you in the conversation
Violence and trauma are part of this conversation. So are health, finances, family, safety, and the choices people make while rebuilding their lives.
You may be a parent, a partner, a neighbor, a survivor, or someone trying to understand your own next chapter. Come for conversations that help you ask questions, recognize your options, and support the people you care about.
You may work in healthcare, advocacy, education, mental health, law enforcement, or another part of the response. Come ready to examine the handoffs, assumptions, and barriers that affect people long after your time with them ends.
The questions guiding RECLAIM
How do people understand their options, ask questions, and participate in decisions about their care?
What helps someone find support they can trust—and keeps them from getting lost between services?
How do housing, finances, and everyday needs affect someone’s ability to move forward?
What can each of us change in our own work, homes, and neighborhoods?
The program is in development. Speaker announcements, session details, and the agenda will be shared as they are confirmed.
